Gepard Diary is dead. Long live MECH*SPECTRUM!

Welcome to Gepard Diary 2.0!

In actual fact, MECH*SPECTRUM is much more than that. It’s not just everything you’ve enjoyed with Gepard Diary. The Battle Stories. The stats pieces. The in-depth insight and analysis. All of that stays just as you’ve enjoyed it all along.

But this relaunch is much more than a rebranding. It’s an expansion. Here are some of the new and exciting things you’ll be seeing here going forward:

  • News coverage of mech games like War Robots, Battle of Titans, Mechwarrior, Robokrieg and more, making this a one-stop destination to keep you up to date with all of the goings-on in the mech gaming world
  • Additional authors! I’ve teamed up with my good friends Jesse Abbot, Mike Porter, and Shawn Sizemore to bring you a diversity of content and opinions from some of the genre’s most passionate fans
  • A regular rotation of videos highlighting some of the best content we come across that might not be on your subscription list- yet!
  • Contests and giveaways!

Awhile back, you may recall I posted a poll asking you what you preferred to read. Did you want me to continue producing fewer, more in-depth pieces? Or would you rather shorter articles more often. The vote broke right down the middle, leading me to wonder, what could I do to offer both?

The result is MECH*SPECTRUM! Never in my wildest imaginings did I think that Gepard Diary would prove to be as popular as it has been, and I’m excited to see where this new direction will take us.

So strap in, power up your targeting systems, and hold on. If you like reading about and gaming with massive robots blasting one another with lethal weaponry, you’ve come to the right place!

And for all of you who have read and enjoyed Gepard Diary, my deepest thanks for all your support. Without you, this would not have been possible.

Awn, I liked the old name better. It gave a personality to the Gepard… On the bright side, there’s more people writing juicy articles now. 😀

  3. This is great! I’m on war robots, waiting for mechwarrior, and interested in battle titans. Long live mech spectrum!
